Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins was forced to retire when he blew his knee out on a top turnbuckle sunset flip. Since then he has been training vigorously with the hopes of returning to the ring as soon us (in)humanly possible. With his the ink on his release papers still wet, Rollins starts an epic sprint straight toward Monday Night Raw. Rollins' plan is to attack the then champion Roman Reigns and restate his claim to the WWE Championship.

Papa Hunter has other ideas however. In a bid to maintain his control over the wildcard Architect, WWE COO HHH pays off a slew of cronies to prevent Rollins from entering the area. Hunter's motives aren't made totally clear, however a feigned concern for Rollins' condition and want for total control seem root.

After a heroic motorcycle ride to the Raw arena (no helmet, tsk tsk) the someday King Slayer decks a whole bunch of security. After breaking into the arena Rollins' runs into AJ Styles and Kevin Owens. Both men try to stop Seth but ultimately fail.

Rollins makes it the ring a delivers a memorable Pedigree to then WWE Champion Roman Reigns. The installment ends with Rollins holding the WWE Title above his head.
